Who We Are

Horseplayer PRO is co-owned and managed by lifelong racing enthusiasts who share more than 70 years combined experience working on the inside of the racing industry. Partners Jeremy Plonk, Toby Turrell, Joe Kristufek, Tim Turrell and Donald Harris bring an array of insight with the approach of the horseplayer first. After all, that's how we all started in the business and what continues to drive us today. We are official handicapping content providers to ESPN.com, the world's largest sports website, as well as analysts covering the largest race meetings from coast to coast.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

As a fellow horseplayer, why should I trust that your handicappers are going to give me an edge?

Unlike most services, each of our experts handles a specific circuit, and all of their energy is devoted to it. From morning works to gallop outs after the race, our select group of Horseplayer PRO analysts are engulfed in their track seven days a week. We’re private clockers, former official Equibase chartcallers, track morning-line makers, 2-year-olds in training scouts/sales attendees, owners/breeders and public handicappers with solid reputations.

HP PRO analysts are not paper handicappers. They don’t rely on computers and technology to do the hard work that it takes to become profitable. Computers do not have eyes. We recognize the fact that most horseplayers have 9-5 jobs. You can’t see every race every day. Let us do that legwork for you. We keep detailed trip and track bias notes. Nothing beats seeing. We’re watching Wednesday and Thursday so you can win on Saturday.

If HP PRO is so confident in the abilities of their analysts, why are your products generally priced lower than those of your competitors?

We understand that the average person’s bankroll for a day at the races is in the neighborhood of $150-$200. To price items at $20 each would mean that you would have to spend more than 10 percent of your bankroll on a single product before you even step up to the betting window for the first time. Our philosophy? You’ll like the HP PRO products so much this week, that you’ll use them every week. We want our customers to win, and we’re confident that they will. We make up the price difference by providing a solid base of loyal customers the quality products that they deserve. Less is more.

Who are your handicappers and where can I read about their credentials?

Please visit our Handicapper's Biography Page to learn more about the team of private clockers, official track oddsmakers, former chartcallers and published handicappers we have on our tight-knit team.

When are the products posted for purchase?

For the next day’s races, all products are posted for purchase by midnight Eastern time. HP Pro analysts want to give our customers every edge possible. We want to be in tune with the latest weather forecasts, track biases, and hot connections. Remember, we’re not relying on a computer to churn out picks 72 hours in advance.

In the event of a cancellation, how to I go about obtaining a refund on a Pro product?

If a track cancels for any reason, you will NOT be billed on your credit card, and the order will be deleted from the system.

If I am unable to download a purchased product, how do I go about resolving the issue?

E-mail us immediately to service@horseplayerpro.com. We will respond as promptly as possible, and help you work through the issue. You can also call our Customer Service help line, available during normal business hours (M-F, 8-5 p.m. eastern) at 570-459-4501 for a personal assist. If you do not receive an answer, please leave a message and we'll respond as soon as possible.

Are your Blogs monitored, or does HP Pro subscribe to the “anything goes” approach?

Horseplayers are some of the most intelligent and mature people to grace our society. As one of the forerunners in the blogging arena, it is our experience that fellow bloggers tend to police one another best. We encourage open, and unrestricted dialogue. That being said, we expect you to respect the forum, and each other. For all of the rules of our blogs, please visit the rules and regulations of our Blog community host www.21publish.com.

Are there any new products on the horizon, and will you be offering any on-line handicapping tournaments?

We are working on a lot of exciting and innovating projects moving forward, both in products and interaction. If you have any opinions on what you’d like us to offer on HP PRO, either in products or services, please feel free to drop us a note at service@horseplayerpro.com.
